We are in the Northern Territory in the harts Ranges looking for gem stones. We have been camped at a place call Mud Tanks looking for zircon. Here is a few pics of day to day life for us.

Harts Range Northern Territory

Hello again to all, we have now been out at the zircon fields at Mud Tanks off the Plenty Highway in the Northern Territory about 160north east of Alice Springs for the past six weeks and having a great time.

 Adrian is removing the mullock off the top of virgin soil. (ground that hasnt been dug before) There was a whole lot of this to be moved.

 Dad is sieving the gravel to remove the dirt so it can be washed and sorted.

 Mum washing the gravel in what is known as a Willoughby.

 Im flipping the sieve over to hopefully find a zircon on the top.

Yes we found a good stone or two and a whole heap that was not so good. We are now going to try our luck with the garnets just 20km up the road.

Masons Bay -April 2012

 View from the caravan window. This is home for the next couple of weeks. Awesome.....

 We have been having fish almost every day, flathead flounder, skippie and herring

 We have come across a few snakes this time. One jumped out of a low tree just in front of me one morning and this one came through our camp. I am just thankful that we were not sitting in our chairs at the time as it went right under mine................. They were nice big Tiger snakes too. Our neighbours had a 6foot Dugite visit them. Too many snakes for my liking.

We have now move on towards Esperence where we will spend the night before catching up with the Inlaws at Norsman.

Now for the card ladies here is a little inspiration for you.

Journey Begins

Hi to everyone, just a quick note to let all my fellow crafters know that I will be hitting the road pretty soon, (In about three weeks.) I hope to still post up some creations as I get time to do them, but I will be keep everyone up to date on where we are and what we are going to do.
I will be making sure the caravan is packed with all the essentials, eg cuttlebug and nesties.
Our first stop will be in Masons Bay (Just out of Hopetown) We hope to just relax and unwind there for a few weeks before heading east.

Welcome to 2012

I would just like to say sorry to all those who have been patient and waiting for me to add more ideas up for you. Here are a couple of photo frames I have made using the Kaszazz paper and card stock. I have used the nestabilities for the die cuts and kaiser flowers and rhinestones for the rest..

This year is going to be a very interesting year for me as we have sold our house and are going to go travelling and just see where the road will go.
This is not going to mean no more card making as I am taking all my gear with me( well almost all) and I will continue to post up as we travel. As i get more settled into this new way of life I can start to do some kits up. So again thanks for sticking with me and I hope to add some more inspiration soon.

Hi Everyone Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and start to the New Year.

I must apologise for the lack of postings, my computer still hasn't been fix. I found this card in one of my files that I had made earlier on as a set of three. Hope this gives you some inspiration to keep making cards.
